The town Kaisersesch is located directly on the highway A48 in the southern part of the Eifel region. Kaisersesch is only 40 kilometres away from Koblenz. It is also not far to the Moselle region – you can reach Cochem only in a few minutes by car.

Daun is a health town with a zoo.
The world known tuff cones (maar lakes) – also known as the blue eyes of the Eifel region- are definitely worth a visit. We would also recommend the round trip hiking trail.
There are many sightseeing points between Kaisersesch and Daun like the bell – foundry, observatory and museums. You can receive further information and leaflets at the reception.
Hiking trail along the creek of the "Pommerbach"
From the source in Kaisersesch to the water mouth in Pommern in the Moselle region. Wine growers offer attractive wine tastings in Pommern. Return to Kaisersesch by taxi or with the train from Pommern to Cochem and from Cochem with bus number 713 back to Kaisersesch.
Hiking trail "Tal der wilden Endert"
First of all you have to go to Maria Martental by bus number 713. From Maria Martental you follow the creek ‘’Endert’’ about twelve kilometres. You will pass a water fall and different mills. You can return to Kaisersesch by bus number 713. It is also possible to walk back to Kaisersesch. You have to use the chairlift in Cochem up to the mountain and from here you follow the hiking trail ‘’Alter Postkutschenweg’’ (about 27 kilometres).
The ‘’Deutsches Eck’’ is a famous sight in Koblenz where the Moselle river flows into the Rhine river. The fortress ‘’Ehrenbreitstein’’ where you have a wonderful view over Koblenz can be reached by chairlift. The fortress is nowadays used as exhibition centre of changing exhibitions. Boat cruises to the Loreley are also offered in Koblenz.
This is a nice trail around Kaisersesch with the excursion of a reproduction of a watch tower and a nice view of the region (about 9 kilometres).
Cochem is a town on the Moselle with old timbered-houses. You can do a round trip on the Moselle by boat or a round trip around the town by train. Also, you can book a guided tour at the imperial castle "Reichsburg".
The golf course is on the plateau of the Moselle loop.
Hiking-Trail to Monreal
Through the ‘’Schnellbachtal’’ to Monreal which is a small historic town with timbered houses. You can return by passing the plateaus (Polcher Holz). It is possible to come back to Kaisersesch by taking the train in Monreal.
Mayen is a small historic town in the Eifel region with a pedestrian zone, medieval town hall, castle ‘’Genovevaburg’’. Site trips to the castle ’’Schloss Bürresheim’’ (5 kilometres), lake and monastery Maria Laach (8 kilometres), brewery Vulkan Mendig (10 kilometres) are definitely worth a visit.
A zoo and adventure park with many different kinds of animals which can be partly feed, roller-coaster, look flume and many other playground attractions.
